The phrases or jargon used today describe what is good as, “That’s insane, or that’s crazy.” The insertion of reverse meaning is a subtle way that can introduce perverted lyrics into a song with very little notice. A scheme of the enemy to have those who are influenced by the music, speak curses over themselves. There is behavior-altering power in lyrics of murder and drug use, especially when combined with sexualized broadcasts. The enemy knows the power of sights and words, and deviously places devices of cursing at their entry point, our eyes and ears. Unknowingly we view or chant them repeatedly until they have taken root in our lives. Even when protesting matters of injustice, we chant words like, “No Justice, No Peace”, and workers of iniquity laugh, as multitudes of people participate in an incantation over themselves.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of movie choices available through streaming services. Have you ever noticed how many of those choices are about murder or of horrifying evil content? In the enemy’s campaign to tear down marriage, he offers content centered around cheating spouses or drug addiction. The focus of our attention manifests the results of our focus. When we chant, there in-lies ability to plant eggs meant to hatch in future generations.
Scripture tells us that, Balak, king of the Moabites, being afraid of the Israelites, desired to form a league with the Midianites. Since neither the Moabites nor the Midianites wanted to engage in hostilities with the Israelites, they sent for Balaam, who was celebrated for having powers of charming. Balaam invited them to tarry over night, and in the morning he arose and made known to the messenger that God neither permitted him to curse the Israelites, nor allowed him to accompany them to their country, for that people was favored of God.
Please FATHER, steer humanity away from the path of worldly traditions. Lord, give our leaders the ability to lead with Holy influence. Let them come to realize that, within roles of leadership, is implanted a command to feed YOUR sheep. Come against any word curse that we have unknowingly spoken over our circumstances. Free us from the grasp of rulers who exalt themselves above YOU Lord and ignore YOUR command. Toss every false god of the conquered land into the fire. As an invader who has become prideful, GOD, usher them into their downfall. (Hebrews 5:11) They no longer try to understand or are dull of hearing. Surely as the devil has fallen from Heaven, so too, FATHER, let them fall.
