FIND TRUCE

Does such a place exist in humanity where common ground can be found?  If there is such a place, we should seek to find it for the benefit of mankind.

Authority cannot lead the people through individual issues of pride and ego; lay these things down before leading us to a place of no return.  Everything cannot continue to be a conflict, lay down pride and there you will find, truce can be found.

Both truce, and a complete ceasefire involves cessation of hostilities, however, truce is an agreement that provides immediate peace without acknowledgment of defeat.  Not an act of confession, admission of guilt or responsibility for any offense or wrongdoing.  In the absence of a complete compromise on peace, truce provides peace.  Leaders must find truce when there is conflict, even if common ground cannot be found.

Find this truce that it will instantly halt conflict without addressing all of the underlying issues causing the conflict.  In contrast, a complete ceasefire involves a comprehensive end of all conflict and can be accompanied by long negotiations to get at the root cause of the conflict.  Truce provides opportunity for diplomacy, negotiation, and humanitarian actions, a space to build trust between the parties for the potential of future progress.  Complete ceasefire requires a more extensive commitment from all parties and may be less flexible in terms of the reinitiating of conflict activities.  Any complete ceasefire must provide stability and safety to the affected population, one conducive to future negotiations and peace-building efforts.  Enduring sustainable resolution aimed at addressing the root cause of conflicts, a settlement that allow people to rebuild their lives without constant threat of violence.

In (Isaiah 33:8) it talks about the wayfaring man ceaseth to travel and the highways lie waste means travelers stopped journeying due to conditions.  Foretelling God’s judgment against nations and individuals who act wickedly and oppress others.

Time has come; we must find truce, one that embraces the concept of peace, reconciliation, and agreement between the parties.  The place and time is now, humanity must remain human and not become a world where no one is respected.
