TRUE FRIEND

Someone who is there for you through life’s ups and downs, one who can be trusted and relied upon, is a true friend.  With whom you share an authentic bond, which transcends surface-level interactions or self-serving motives.  When two people genuinely understand and appreciate each other’s heart, values, and experiences.

True friendship is free from superficiality and it thrives on mutual desire for the other person’s growth and well-being.  Within its realm you are embraced, and embraced as your true self.  Where your goals and aspirations are supported, and your achievements celebrated.

A true friend exhibits empathy and listens without judgment, while fostering a sense of belonging and unwavering love.  In (John 15:13) Jesus conveys the concept of how the greatest form of love is shown.

God exemplifies a true friend, with unconditional love, and HIS acceptance of who we are, while HE embraces our strengths and weaknesses without judgment or condemnation.  HE always extends forgiveness and offers redemption and restoration through second chances.  An ever-present help, HE never leaves nor forsakes us, HIS companionship gives reassurance.  The willingness to lay down HIS life for us, demonstrates the deep love and commitment of a true friend.

There is a universal Divine love and it transforms the confines of religious boundaries.  Jesus is a unifying force who transcends labels placed on HIM by other religions.  Between all who follow God, there must be a spiritual awakening that leads to the common thread of love.  Invite others to deepen their understanding of God’s Divine love while on their own unique paths, even if not a detailed exploration of Christian theology, just plant a seed.  God will unify the nations with HIS Divine power, that they will break from tradition, become a true friend of our spiritual guide and teacher, and HIS universal message of love.
