TRUTH SOURCE

The only source of truth can be found in the Holy Scriptures.  Available in almost every language on earth, it is a source of growth to increase our faith in Christ.  We who believe in Christ know that HIS Holy Scriptures is our sole basis of faith and service to God.  HIS Word reveals the righteousness of God. (Romans 1:16-17) We are not ashamed of the Good News about Christ.

The Holy Scriptures is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:15-17) We are taught as children, the Holy Scriptures makes us wise to accept God’s salvation by trusting in Christ Jesus.  This letter was given to us by inspiration from God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.  This is so that men of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for all good works.

There, however, are those who try to corrupt the faith and fracture nations.  They want the world to believe that they are the source of truth, and unless it is heard from them, it is not the truth.  These fraudulent people are trapped in the worst form of prison, their ignorance.

There is no middle view when it comes to the Holy Scriptures, they are either inspired of God or they are not.  To state it simply, a line is either straight, or it is not.  A thing must be, or not be, there is no middle view.  When corrupt men say that Holy Scriptures are not inspired by God, they are instead claiming them to be mere products of man.  As with everything man puts his hands on, it becomes corrupted.

God’s source of truth, HIS Word, is the infallible revelation of HIS will.  It is HIS Holy stipulation for us to consecrate ourselves to HIS Word and be holy, because HE is Holy.  HIS will is revealed therein concerning us in all things necessary for our salvation.

(Hebrews 12:14) Instructs us to “stay out of all quarrels, and seek to live a clean and Holy life, for one who is not Holy will not see the Lord.” (Leviticus 11:45) Reminds us that it was God that brought us out of bondage.  HE did this to be our God.  Therefore, we must be Holy, for HE is Holy.

Romans 1:16-17
New International Version

16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” ”

Romans 1:16-17
King James Version

16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.”

Romans 1:16-17
Living Bible

16 “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is God’s powerful method of bringing all who believe it to heaven. This message was preached first to the Jews alone, but now everyone is invited to come to God in this same way. 17 This Good News tells us that God makes us ready for heaven—makes us right in God’s sight—when we put our faith and trust in Christ to save us. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scripture says it, “The man who finds life will find it through trusting God.” ”

2 Timothy 3:15-17

2 Timothy 3:15-17
King James Version

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

2 Timothy 3:15-17
Living Bible
