The candle of the Lord is the spirit of man. The light represents man’s spirit, his sphere of influence. As the candle burns the quality of the elements are brought into view. If pure, the light shines steadily, without noise or agitation. By chance any foreign substance gets into the wick or tallow the light grows dim, splutters, and finally goes out. There can be no impurities allowed if the light is to shine. The candle is a symbol of life–it is the soul.
The body is the temple of the soul. It’s a place where high thoughts are formed, and where kindly deed, and noble example dwell. In the name of Jehovah Rapha, YOUR child, holds to the declaration of YOUR divine name. Thou art a mighty God to all eternity, the God that heals, and the God that provide. At a favorable hour and place; he who calls often upon God in faith and with fear, and carries with him the golden letters, will never desire the subsisting existence of the deceived.

A sound mind in a sound body is the new perfect physique. Let us breathe deeper, study Holy Scripture, and think purer thoughts. This makes the temple indeed a fit dwelling place for the soul. Inside the temple, no sounds of tools can be heard, but this is a place where building never ceases.
When the temple isn’t properly nourished, diseases evade diagnosis. By the time disease progress to recognizable form, and develops a definite pathology, many years pass. Making any treatment rendered from then on as being only symptomatic and reactionary at best. Nevertheless, a feeble gesture; like locking the office door after its contents has been stolen.
In the spirit realm, the enemy targets the temple; it’s the place where souls are kept. If the public fully understood the origin of illness there would be a great effort to get to the bottom of what causes disease. Then, heavily endowed institutions would have to elucidate this matter. Until then, it is up to us to realize that our troubles are made and unmade at the dinner table. Consume only that which is of importance and the most fundamental consideration for life. This is hard when we’ve been taught to believe that whatever the culture consumes for nourishment is immune from disease. How can we now tell a person to keep well nourished when they have been living on what they understand to be good nourishing food?
