COMMUNICATIONS RESTORED

The matter of fact teachings of Jesus Christ was done in love and humility.  There is no word in HIS Word designed to hurt.  There is no word in HIS Word that slanders.  HE has shown us how to use HIS Word in love, as a covering to bring conflict to an end.  Speak truth, but with humility wrapped in love, as God shows us.

When pride soars in relationships, so do troubles.  To have the peace of God inside insulates us from what goes on outside.  With a humble approach, problems can be faced with resolve.  In humility, the possibility of dissolution is denied power.  Study God’s Word and teach HIS doctrine on the power of humility.

In Ephesians 4:29 we are instructed; “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouth”.  When pride and selfishness is removed, we begin to say things only “helpful for building others up according to their needs”, not our own.  For resolution sake, acknowledge our own contribution to conflict rather than finding faults of others.  Intentionally listen to another’s perspective without a need to have ours heard.

Colossians 3:8 tells us to “rid yourself of anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips”.  Do not use words to trigger rage in another who is on the opposite side of a debate.  Restore communication with a focus to resolve an issue rather than amplifying blame.  Speak words that make matters better and not those that describe, what makes them worse.

There should be no love lost when there is no love, because love never losses.  Be at peace with the other side of an issue because you are at peace inside.  Have victory over your life, family, and health, by praying words of faith.  Conflict becomes a peace conference when communication is restored.
