WATCHDOGS BARK

Trends are accepted systems of social conduct that sway personal opinion based on the popularity of the craze.  The populace at large, religious institutions, nor government regulators worldwide, are standing up against these accepted techniques of societal influence.

The day is upon us when lies are embraced as truth, as long as the end-result or desired effect is a popular one.  Not popular to everyone, just to enough people that fondles the self-image of the liar.

False prophets horrify God in an effort to frighten their parishioners in to a belief that has been embraced and ratified amongst false church membership.  Even if the belief is considered to be unlawful in the eyes of God.  As long as it is popular amongst a multitude, not even a majority, the motion carries.

Where are the watchdogs, the regulators, or the earthly authorities?  Why are they silent throughout the land?  At a time in history that action from people of distinction, faith, and obedience to God, is required in opposing the enemy.  They are as those who are unable to speak or whose voices have been muted.  Having only one function of being a watchdog for the people, but they no longer have an ability to bark.

The day of vengeance has come; God is as a shield and shelter over HIS children.  HE is like a parent that we finally realize have feelings too.  A parent, who goes to war when protecting HIS children, will also correct and love them at the same time.  For, no one can hurt a parent’s feelings, like their own children.  But God will trample the enemy under HIS feet for taking advantage of HIS children.  This includes those assigned as watchdogs over the hearts and minds of God’s children who has failed to bark or warn.

To those that have had your loyalty manipulated, and allowed the enemy to enter the gate that you were assigned to guard, peer group influence is not more powerful than parental guidance.  Your assignment was to identify the opposing threat and warn the people, while ignoring the place within your sympathy where the enemy may squat.  Be not like a watchman who is blind, lacking knowledge as a mute dog.

Amongst the children of God, not even a dog will bark at just any person or animal.  This is how God makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.

Isaiah 56:10
New International Version

10 “Israel’s watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark;
they lie around and dream, they love to sleep.”

Exodus 11:7
New International Version

7 “But among the Israelites not a dog will bark at any person or animal.’ Then you will know that the Lord makes a distinction between Egypt and Israel.”

Revelation 21:9-13
New International Version
The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb

9 “ “One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west.” ”

Isaiah 63:6-19
New International Version

6 “ “I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground.”

Praise and Prayer

I will tell of the kindnesses of the Lord, the deeds for which he is to be praised, according to all the Lord has done for us—yes, the many good things he has done for Israel, according to his compassion and many kindnesses. He said, “Surely they are my people, children who will be true to me”; and so he became their Savior. In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them.[a] In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. 10 Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself fought against them. Then his people recalled[b] the days of old, the days of Moses and his people—where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them, 12 who sent his glorious arm of power to be at Moses’ right hand, who divided the waters before them, to gain for himself everlasting renown, 13 who led them through the depths? Like a horse in open country, they did not stumble; 14 like cattle that go down to the plain, they were given rest by the Spirit of the Lord. This is how you guided your people to make for yourself a glorious name. 15 Look down from heaven and see, from your lofty throne, holy and glorious. Where are your zeal and your might? Your tenderness and compassion are withheld from us. But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us
or Israel acknowledge us; you, Lord, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name.
17 Why, Lord, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance.
18 For a little while your people possessed your holy place, but now our enemies have trampled down your sanctuary. 19 We are yours from of old; but you have not ruled over them,
they have not been called[c] by your name.”

Ephesians 4:2
New International Version

2 “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

Genesis 4:7
New International Version

7 “If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” ”

Nehemiah 7:3
New International Version

3 “I said to them, “The gates of Jerusalem are not to be opened until the sun is hot. While the gatekeepers are still on duty, have them shut the doors and bar them. Also appoint residents of Jerusalem as guards, some at their posts and some near their own houses.” ”
