INTERCESSORY GOVERNANCE PRAYER

When gifted with the anointing of intercession, we begin with a focus on the Lord Himself.  As we pray in the spirit for the deliverance of our people, we love, praise, and worship God.  His will, mind, and heart is revealed unto us.  God’s thoughts are higher than ours.  When intercession springs from our own hearts, it is just an expression of good intentions.  Through intercessory prayer, we remind God of His promise until they are fulfilled.

As an intercessor for others, we war, or plead for justice to triumph on behalf of another.  The anointing spirit of an intercessor, who prays, is one who builds the wall or hedge of protection over God’s children.  To intercede in prayer, especially when used on behalf of a fellow member of the Body of Christ, God’s power is revealed.  This is repeatedly demonstrated in scripture.  We plead to God, on behalf of another, together with Reverence, Confession, and Thanksgiving, to release the will of God.

During this time of intercession, we must stand firm in the face of opposition.  Ask God to open the eyes and purify the minds of our people.  Pray for God to turn our eyes away from vain and worthless things.  We pray for clearness of thought, and to be shown that we do not fit in because we are not of this world.  Pray that God reveals to us why we should not operate as this world does.

So that we are not prey for the enemy, all distraction and divisive spirits are hereby cancelled.  Spirits of compromise, competitiveness, envy, and strife are brought down along with strongholds and false belief patterns.  We come against hypocrisy, lying, and murdering spirits right now in the name of Jesus.  The power of God prevents setbacks and overcomes every obstacle for those God has chosen in Him, before the foundation of the world.  Those God has chosen, no attack of the enemy can prevail against, and every plot and evil plan of the wicked is hereby cancelled.

God helps us to humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways.  Therefore, let us only provoke one another to good works.  For with the same mouth we cannot bless and curse.  Let our words be seasoned with grace, as we thank God for the taming of our tongue.  For our hope is in you Lord, please encamp your Angels around us as we stand firmly on your word.  Lift up intercessors as we march into the camp of the enemy.  We are bold to engage the enemy as we receive vision of God to see our foes approaching from a distance.  Teach us to arise, taking our position in the name of Jesus, and war in the spirit realm.  The enemy’s attack on our bodies, that have caused us to retreat in previous battles, is rendered powerless as we fight for the lives of our children and those who cannot fight for themselves.

So, arise, taking your place to intercede, watch, and pray, all of those with the burden of intersession.  We do not grow weary in well doing, look to, or expect reward from man.  For God’s plans for us are good, and it is He that rewards us openly.

Our purpose cannot be aborted, hence we shout with the voice of triumph.  God gives us hope and an expected end.  Our petitions are hereby granted.  Followers of Christ realize that life is fragile and are humbled to not speak in haste, but in faith.

Now we plead the blood of Jesus and declare victory as we lift up this young generation.  The revival to revive us has begun.  Glory to God.
