TALKING FOR NOTHING

A writer speaks, expresses, and communicates through their writings.  Whether fiction or nonfiction, a writer uses the art form of writing to make a thought visible that only exists in their mind.  Fictional writing offers an escape from reality.  Nonfiction places the writers’ observation of the world around them into a visible instrument.  This instrument, object, or article can live beyond the life of its creator.

When speaking our thoughts, it is easy to offend someone with spoken words.  A good writer uses literature to do their speaking to avoid talking for nothing.  There are hours of time spent vividly imagining what will be written, that it may turn out better than imagined.  This exercise is comparable to a pilot that checks his checklist, no matter how great his talent or experience.  Literature that we create with words cannot be easily destroyed overnight.  That is why we create anyway, despite those who would attempt to destroy our handiworks.

People will watch horror, and evil futuristic movies that takes them away from reality.  Never considering the symbolic evil content contained therein.  Their minds are shaped and twisted into the design intended by the movie’s creator.  If a movie creator can twist your thoughts, imagine what Satan can do with his symbolism.  Some evil art forms can leave the portals of your soul unprotected.  Thereby allowing easy access for darkness to creep into your thoughts.  Causing some in this generation to curse their own FATHER.  Their sense of family has been eroded and corroded.

Left for our edification is a divinely inspired written letter.  The original authors, who wrote them, have long since passed away.  The Written Word of God is a road map for living. (Romans 15:4) Although “these things that were written in the Scriptures so long ago are to teach us patience and to encourage us so that we will look forward expectantly to the time when God will conquer sin and death.”

What we might deserve, God does not allow because of HIS Grace and Mercy.  Therefore, we have hope because HIS Written Word tells us so.

Stop talking for nothing; make your words count.  If your spoken words do not lineup with truth, they are probably lies, influenced by a liar.

Read God’s Word and give yourself permission to experience joy in this life.  Those with a gift for writing, do not talk for nothing, write instead.
