REPENTANCE

The world has entered into a season of repentance.  This deeply rooted concept of repentance is understood throughout most religious and moral traditions.  It’s the process of acknowledging a sincere remorse for one’s wrongful actions with a genuine desire to make amends.

By recognizing one’s own wrongdoing and being remorseful, is the step towards personal transformation. Acknowledge the consequences of any actions that you’ve taken, that may have been hurtful or damaging to someone else.  It involves seeking forgiveness from anyone impacted by an offense and move forward transformed, committed to changing one’s own behavior.

Repent that we may confront personal shortcomings and take responsibility for our own actions.  We need a place to hold these feelings of remorse, guilt, and regret for our own past actions or behaviors.  Issue an apology to those affected, as a sincere expression of your repentance, most importantly, repent to God, that HE may allow you to forgive yourself.

(Acts 3:19) Peter urges the people to repent, turn to God and have their sins wiped out, a time of refreshing from the Lord.  With repentance we can turn to God for forgiveness.

Let the season of repentance begin!
