REACTIONARY REACTIONIST

We all wish to have a reaction to an inaction, which is not reacted to, by a reactionary.  As a reactionary, you are not in the best position to instruct another how to react, although you do it well.

As a teacher, teaching humility is not possible, if you were never a student where it was taught.  Exhibiting humility as a teacher means that you have benefited from its training while learning as a student.  For one can only teach what they have learned and/or have been taught.

Being taught humility does not mean that humility was learned.  The best teachers of humility are those who have been humbled.  Without humility learned as a student, you are not one adequate to teach on the subject.

As a backward looking reactionary, you may be well known for your ability to react, and not for an aptitude to resolve or accomplish anything meaningful.  Higher levels of power call for a higher level of skill, not a reactor known for reacting to problems.  But one who realizes that humility is a two-way street; showing it, while at the same time teaching modesty.  Our response to what someone says is a reaction, lovely words spoken gets a lovely response.  Lies spoken evokes an angry response.

The spirit of humility will allow a leader to stand up again after a fall.  They are humble in their achievements and are not defined by their failures.  Always walking humbly with God as we do HIS will.  All the time moving confidently forward, even after a misstep.

To find common ground with those having the most in common with us should be the first goal of leadership. Allow feedback, for it is only good for correcting mistakes.  A reactionary without humility may cause the solution for a problem to never be stated based on fear of their reaction.  This is in fact, inaction on the part of the powers-that-be.  A reactionary reacts as if they are a student of humility and not as a teacher appointed to instruct others.

We cannot react to cross-examination of church leadership, in a manner viewed as not being devoted to a united purpose.  Our united purpose should be the collective furtherance of the Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ.  While blocking Satan’s attempt to divert attention away from his efforts to oppress mankind.

Earthly fire must be fought with water, not fire, especially among brethren.  A firefight serves to burn the entire house down.

With the power of prayer, instead of fighting against racism, we should fight for solidarity.  Fighting hatred is done best by showing love.   We pray through the trials of today to get to the other side of a struggle tomorrow.

Over confident reactionaries hurt more people by their inaction.  No more internal church bickering used by some in authority to pick apart another, while being (“pick-apart-able”).  Being astute in the job of a reactionary but muffled in preaching the truth of God.

When there is a calling on your life to do Kingdom work, the enemy will send people to distract or attack you.  Like clanging cymbals in times of crisis, they attempt to abort your Kingdom mission with their noise.  With God leading HIS anointed children, nothing the enemy uses can stop their impact on the world, inside or outside of the church.  We are to represent Jesus, as HE wants to be represented, in love, strength, and humility.
