WORLD PEACE

Those who guide you, cause thee to err by confusing the direction of thy paths.  You are men whose children are your oppressors and their women rule over them.

(Isaiah 3:12) The prophet Isaiah delivers a message of judgment against Judah and Jerusalem for their disobedience and rebellion against God.  It’s often been interpreted as a critique of leadership at the time.  He was saying their lack of wisdom and understanding was creating an opportunity for their women and their oppressors to rule over, and lead them astray.

This can vary, based on different theological perspectives and historical contexts.  In the patriarchal society of that time, he was not necessarily speaking to women, but to leaders who were compared to women, which was seen as a sign of weakness or disorder.  Blaming them for leading the people away from God’s path.

The earth will see its most peaceful and prosperous season when humanity aligns itself with the perfect will of God.  This is the foundation for a healthy and thriving society.

World peace will come when we build leadership on honesty and transparency not secrets and lies.
