TURBULENT TIMES

Bless the leaders of the world, for within their hands are the controls of global power.  Ask God’s blessings over our leadership, and ask that HE calm the wind of these turbulent times.

Give us leadership that are not fools; but are wise men that bring calm in the end, (Proverbs 29:11).  In (Mark 4:39) Jesus woke up and rebuked the wind and silenced the waves, commanding them to be still.  This symbolizes for us that God can still the chaos and disorder in our lives.

We get an apt picture of being in God’s presence; HE is like a non-destructive wind, powerful, yet unseen, a quiet storm, the kind that we fail to appreciate.  Because a storm is not as devastating as it could have been, never omit praises when the quiet storm is over.
