EXERCISE INSIGHT

To exercise our insight, we become both the granite and the sculptor.  Made stronger from fashioning ourselves into an enhanced carved or cast figure.

To reach the summit of an evil lifestyle, it’s like climbing Mount Everest in reverse.  It is not until we reach the top, that we realize how far down we have actually traveled.  Evil earnings gained over a lifetime, requires a lifetime to make respectable use of it.  Going down seems uphill; trying to climb out of the depths of lifestyle choices, takes a lifetime.  Bad behavior is like a comfy bed, easy to get into, but hard to get out.

Without some suffering, a man cannot reshape himself.  If he fears’ suffering, he is already suffering from that which he fears.  They are as fools, who repeat the same self-destructive patterns, failing to listen to wisdom, lacking common prudence.  They love things, not people, instead of using things as tools and not people.  Their insecurities are expressed through arrogance.

The discreet man admits when he is wrong, and is silent when he is right.  He shelters in the Word of God, being changed, and reemerges unrecognizable.  With nothing to prove, he walks in the fullness of who God created him to be.  The body impaled by a knife will heal, but an injury from a wounded heart lasts a lifetime.  Being pruned by God, he underwent some suffering but came back a changed man.

Never over explaining himself, realizing that discipline will take him much further than any degree of intelligence ever will.  He wins in the acquired skill of silence.  He loves unconditionally; understanding that conditions tied to love is a transaction.  The greatest expression of love is respect.  A man who is humble on the outside yet confident on the inside.  Educated by his own experiences to be private, and there is nothing people can do but assume.  His life is peaceful with a small circle of friends.  As he collects gifts of the present, from lessons gained from the past.  No time is wasted thinking about people that he has a permanent feeling of antipathy.

Being on a remote island is great, but we all need to be held accountable to God.  “Never spoil what we have by desiring what we have not; remembering that what we have now, was once among the things we only hoped for.” Blessings won in prayer, we should wear in praise.  Never make the same mistake with your second chance.

Awaken your power by opening your Bible.  When you stop reading books, intelligence, imagination, and ambition is lost.  Imagine what you can lose when you stop reading and hearing God’s Word.  Even in death, it is good news for the believer, for it brings an end to the torment of this world.  The Bible gives us direction, man gives directions, learn the difference.
