OUR COMMON DESTINY

An absolute abomination is the power of ignorance within a nation. Who or what holds responsibility for an abomination, which generates cause to hate those considered ignorant within a nation?

The Bible uses the word abomination throughout the scripture of Leviticus. In a scriptural reference, abomination can be viewed as a consequence for doing something God has forbidden spiritually and so writes in His Word. A more worldly definition of the word abomination is something vile, shameful, and/or an exceptionally detestable action, condition, or habit. This goes beyond something like spitting in public, which is an act that can be met with dislike or disapproval. But an abomination is a loathsome, sinful, horrible, vicious act that can be considered offensive or opposing to the things of God. This abhorrent behavior is viewed with even more condemnation when undertaking in it disappoints the human race, nation, or family.

To possess control or influence over others is not a license to act or produce an effect contrary to the well being of those over whom you exercise power. When this influence occurs between nations, it is called foreign power. A foreign power can have the ability to control people and events whether through physical might or inflexible by-laws. However, when power over others occur within a species, nation, or family, the results of bad decisions are shared by the entire populace.

Therefore, those in power or authority cannot cause or inflict an abomination on society and then condemn the ignorance of those affected by their rule. In other words, you cannot create a lack of knowledge by denying information to others, and then complain about their ignorance, based on bylaws to suppress access to instruction. In essence creating a state of ignorance by limiting education, knowledge, or awareness to things required for eliminating illiteracy, and then making light of those affected by the creation. To be ignorant is more reflective of being uninformed than it is of stupidity. It is the result of being deprived of knowledge.

The ignorance of a species, nation, or family is the responsibility of those with authority. A common purpose unites the inhabitants of a territory to reach its desired destiny together. But defiled is a species, nation, or family that is ruled over by a corrupt leader.
