PEACE IS SUCCESS

The confusion in the world today results from confusion happening within humanity.  Peace is hard to find when we are trapped in a world of confusion.  So uncommon is peace, that we have become accustomed to living without.  Instead, days are filled with conflict in all areas of social interaction and communication.  Where there is constant conflict, peace cannot be found.

Men and women were not originally designed to be in conflict with one another.  There has always been war between men, but war between the genders was never God’s intention.  For one gender to covet the others God given design instigates conflict into the gender social paradigm.  As long as men and women are not contending for the same roles in society, no conflict arises from their interaction.  The conflict develops from when one gender seeks to operate within society as one who would traditionally act in that role, who happens to be of the opposite sex.  If someone of the opposite sex wants to perform in a role traditionally assumed as a function of his or her gender parallel, there in lies the potential for conflict.  If there is no competition, there is no general conflict between genders.

However, there is confusion within humanity that places the genders in disharmony with one another for societal functionality.  If a woman’s God given ability to make a man feel strong through her demonstration of affection towards him is withheld, there is conflict.  She too may have a need to feel strong, and a man’s God given role is to love her into her strength.  By withholding his love only creates the same kind of conflict that denial of affections causes.

When there is mutual understanding, and expectations are clear between the genders, there is little room for conflict.  When there is one male interacting in a work environment with several female staff members, there is a general understanding regarding role within that setting.  There would be expectations of the man based on his physical makeup.  The same is true in case of the reverse scenario.

In marriage, the same rule applies.  We have expectations based on our traditional gender roles.  When those roles are reversed without an understanding of expectations being discussed, conflict occurs causing a breakdown of the bond.

Be in love with you, but in wisdom, realize and appreciate the gifts and capabilities possessed by another, especially those of the opposite gender.  For God created use to live in connection and cooperation with each other.  When that balance is found, there is peace, and nothing succeeds the success of peace.
