Scroll Down to INFORMATION OVERLOAD

INFORMATION OVERLOAD

FATHER, help us to walk safely through the land mines of deceptions that are intertwined within the truth all over the world.  Protect our gates that no darkness penetrates; give us sight to see incoming attacks.  The war being waged against the minds of humanity has become like information overload.

Seeking to know too much information can have consequences; our minds can only process but so much.  The constant scroll of obtainable information can be harmful when lies are intertwined.  In (Proverbs 14:8) it speaks about being wise or like the foolish that fool himself and won’t face facts.  Ask for discernment, that with the help of God we can guard the gates of our ears, eyes, and hearts that we do not allow any darkness to enter that would blind us from God’s light.

Not good to always have to know everything, because information we are being fed is not all there is to know. Why fill the mind with ‘mis’ and ‘dis’ information?  Seek only to know truth, and guard yourself from that which corrupts the mind.  If you find yourself being influenced by anything other than God, you have reached information overload, and are at your most vulnerable.

Unplug from the world, come in alignment with God through prayer, and give thanks to HIM for guiding your steps.  The Holy Spirit, who is truth, shall guide you into all truth, (John 16:13).  Choose to have a good name rather than riches (Proverbs 22:1).

We are underwhelmed when we unplug from that which poisons the mind.
