The definition of reasoning – “The action of thinking about something in a logical, sensible way.” The word reason is defined – “A cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event.”
At times, human comprehension contrast drastically on matters, which seem like no opposing outlooks, conclusions, and/or perceptions are possible. For instance, even when faced with facts or circumstances that makes a position on an issue conceivable, logical, sensible actions of thinking are used to reduce or eliminate blame or obligation. In other words, reasoning comes into play to argue a point taken in a dispute. Our human sense of reason can easily explain or justify an action or event that frees the conscious mind from self-checks and balances. God has implanted in every person, a sense of “bad feeling caused by knowing that one has done something wrong or bad.”
It is an emotion of guilt that results from having a troubled conscience. We have an internal sense of integrity that gives us the ability to self-diagnose behavior that is incorrect or inappropriate. It is from this God given internal analysis of social conduct that gives us the capacity to express disapproval. It is important to know what to approve of or disapprove. There in lies the problem.
The conflict of viewing the same situation drastically different must be the work of the enemy using the human sense of reasoning against mankind. How have we become so distrustful of one another that we see wrong as right? At least half of the world sees the other half as wrong. Leaving the one half strongly entrenched in their belief of being correct, even when they are not. The public façade of a lie is valued over a private truth. Whichever side of an issue that uses reasoning to justify deceit have lost their internal capacities to self regulate.
The world will be a place of harmonious living when love is reciprocated between opposing members of society. This includes, but not limited to, men, women, husband, wives, ethnicities, political, and religious factions and nations. What can save mankind are the rules set by GOD and the attributes HE gave man that provide him with an advantage over the animals. Man was endowed with superior intelligence to rule, guide, and inspire the world around him. Our capacity for rational thought is what gives man his superior advantage over other living things.
The more man learns and upgrades his personal space, he downgrades in his celestial nature and dependence on GOD. Man must regain his original nature and lose his indifference to the sufferings of others. Stop the use of reasoning to spread hate, hunger, and sickness. Come back to God and solve the world’s problems. Admit that without HIM, we have failed.
