Love is a transforming emotion. Finding love can heal deep wounds caused by abandonment, parental neglect, grief, and brokenness from a bad relationship. Even if you have had the misfortune of having all of the aforementioned experiences, finding true love has the ability to transform a heart of stone to one of compassion and joy. Love is a powerful healing agent and a cure for the brokenhearted. The key ingredient of love, arising without obvious external cause, can heal life-long afflictions; acting as a balm for what ails us. We become flush with well-being, happiness, and good feelings. Feeling truly loved is at the core of the human experience.
God knows what we have need of, and sends it at the right time. Two people with similar experiences of being unloved and misused by others are brought together at the right time in life. Just as each may have given up on ever being truly happy or loved, God steps in and brings them together in a divine way. Their respective incidents of being unappreciated by one, gives them a new sense of joy never experienced, once loved and appreciated by another. Dissolving all negativity, we are able to open our hearts once again.
God will not allow us to live in misery forever when we seek His deliverance. The financial security or social image of a bad relationship is not worth exchanging self worth and emotional well being to keep up with phony public appearances. When escaping the brokenness of a bad situation becomes our only consideration, leaving with merely the clothes on our back is worth it when God intercedes. We recognize that living in private misery for the superficial tradeoff of a fabricated public facade is not a fair trade. We call on God once we comprehend that others can see that our lives are really a shallow mess disguised by depictions of pleasure, with misery under its thin surface.
Faith is demonstrated when we lean on God for our future needs and trust that He will provide. Staying in His Word gives us an understanding of the weeping that may endure for a night, knowing that joy will come in the morning. Others lacking the courage to take a leap of faith are encouraged by our strength.
One day, what appears to be a chance encounter, turns in to a love that can only be found after we move on faith. By remaining thankful to God, we become an example of the power of Godly surrender, and are healed through love.
