It is fine to be unpopular; obscurity is priceless, a commodity that popularity cannot acquire. An obscure presence is valued, one can exist comfortably in their-own skin, without need to put on airs, and pretend for cameras.
Sometimes the best performers are most uncomfortable in their own skin. They play a character for a lifetime, which is nothing like their real self. The real self isolate and suffer in silence, while the performer pretends in public to be comfortable.
It’s important to find comfort in your own skin, that you aren’t consumed trying to be popular, while pretending to be someone you’re not. It could mean being unpopular, but at least you’ll be comfortable, in your own skin.
There are people that do not know who they are, and have not mastered their own flesh, and they envy the superpower of those who have. Their flesh controls them and they become jealous of people with dominion over their own skin.
Save your own skin, because evil people will save theirs, a skin for skin, (Job 2:4). Satan will touch the wicked with sickness, and they will curse God to HIS face.
Who are these popular performers?
Their eternal days shall surely come to an end. That is when they will wish to be unpopular.
