To be banished, ostracized, or excluded means that your name appears on a blacklist. What is the publishing supervisor of the blacklist? To have such a role within society is a sign of having a blemished name. A seat that sits above others in society with the job of concerning his or her self with the infamy of another must be hiding blemishes of their own. What a sad place to find oneself, who looks for stains while hiding them at the same time. The constant editing of a blacklist, one who forms such a sewer of scandal, breath must surely reek.
There is only one whom walked the earth without stain or blemish. It is HE that warns the world of the dangers connected with being a record-keeper of faults.
For it takes a person of a dark spirit to supervise and publish the blacklist. What a repulsive thing to be a black lister. The seat upon which they sit to look down on others does nothing to mask the smell of a rotten heart. To be snobbish or proud is not exemplary of class. It is evidence for us to not accept criticism from one not worthy of taking advice.
Each should live as free as possible of imperfection. When praying, ask for wisdom, there is a place and purpose in life for knowledge. While being a person of the times, do not become one of a self-inflated importance. “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”
Live as an example to others rather than a black lister of their faults. So that we know where we are going, even if no one follows us. Being record keeper of mistakes is not a role worth having with a closet full of faults. God wants a radiant church; bride of Christ, for HE is “without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
Ephesians 5:27
New International Version
27 “and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
