The word miss can be used to express the action of failing to hit a target. It can also be used to describe a failure to perform or attend, to miss work, school, or church. One who leaves in the morning hurried may miss breakfast. It is when you enter a bank or store that you realize you miss your wallet. An attempt to reach a goal set to achieve an end-result is a miss. Failing to notice, hear, and/or understand someone or something impossible to miss is a missed opportunity. It is impossible to miss because it is right in front of you, it made a loud noise, or it has always been around.
Another usage of the word miss; “An expression of sorrow or sadness from the absence of a loved one that has died, and are no longer with you.” Not seeing someone that you love for an inordinate amount of time, can lead to a feeling, which is a sign that you miss him or her. You can miss the energy created from being in the company of somebody.
The word missing goes deep. For it can mean that something needed is missing and is not in its usual place. Someone or something that you are fond of, or value, has gone missing. Someone is considered truly missing, when they are known to be living but they cannot be traced. They are absent from a residence; in particular family, and their whereabouts are unknown.
To make your spouse miss you, surprise them once in a while with sweet gestures. A spouse will miss you when they feel prioritized. We miss a person with whom we share a mutual appreciation of being honored to be in each-others company.
Express to God that you miss HIM if HE is missing in your life. Repent to God and ask HIM for forgiveness for any actions on our part that has led to us missing the mark. Ask God for our destiny assignment to fortify HIS Kingdom. HIS Divine life was given that we miss HIS presence when HE is missing from our lives. God is missed when HE is missing, from not just what we do, but who we are also.
We are able to find God because HE can be found. HE is found in the same place where we would expect HIM to be, In HIS Word. There is no failure to notice, hear, or understand HIM because HE has always been around. When we follow HIM, we are able to experience that HE is present through HIS grace and mercy. Our ability to enjoy life depends on God not being missing in our lives. Never miss an opportunity to uplift and praise the name of Jesus, so that HE is always present, and not missing, in our lives. HE is the Bridegroom who misses HIS Bride, the church. Showing her daily by HIS sweet gestures that express to her, that she is a priority. We are honored to be in the company of God, and HE appreciates our company as well. We will miss the gratitude felt, to be in HIS presence, if HE were to go missing in our lives. Hold on to God.

25 “ “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise. 3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. 4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. 5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.”
