There was a time when thoughts were owned by the thinker. The act of adapting a thought of the mind into a visual and/or audio word is called thinking. God gave each person an ability to think. Even those who cannot speak or see have an ability to create thought in their own minds. From birth, the capability of converting thought into words increases daily from what is heard and/or seen. A thinker cannot be separated from their thoughts.
There can be nothing done, before there is a thought of doing. Even speculation and imagination are both hindered, and truth is voided, without thought. We cannot ever know what actually really is, if truth is arrested and never allowed to develop into words. It is like having our thoughts caught in a net from which they cannot escape. If we are doing anything without thought, who is doing the thinking? The disadvantage of not having thought; leads to nothing ever being prepared, made, or fixed. Therefore, a doer will never get anything done.
The power to create words from thought gives humans the means by which to impress upon another a description of something that was seen or heard. Evil thoughts can be used to form words meant to conceal, hide, or confuse, by complicating the portrayal of what is seen and/or heard. Do not give Satan entry into your thoughts. Where your thoughts are formed becomes the spring from which your words flow. Your words that are heard by others become a representation of who controls your mind. When Satan controls your thoughts, the words formed from those thoughts are based on lies. You become a liar who does not know what truth is, because the father of lies gave you the thought to create your words.
When God governs our thoughts, those who may not think too deeply will still have the common sense to do the right thing. God gives wisdom and understanding liberally to those who ask. (James 1:5) With wisdom, we are able to translate thoughts gained from the sights and sounds of our world into words. Blessed with Godly understanding, our thoughts generate words that depict ideas and memories based on truth. If anyone can own our thoughts, let it be God. Allow our words that are generated from our thoughts be formed from truth. Be not a seeker of words only, but be a doer of God’s Word. Then you will be blessed in your thinking and your deeds. (James 1:22-25)
James 1:5
New International Version
5 “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”
James 1:5
King James Version
5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
James 1:5
Living Bible
5 “If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him; he will not resent it.”
James 1:22-25
New International Version
22 “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. 23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. 25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.”
James 1:22-25
King James Version
22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.”
James 1:22-25
Living Bible
22 “And remember, it is a message to obey, not just to listen to. So don’t fool yourselves. 23 For if a person just listens and doesn’t obey, he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror; 24 as soon as he walks away, he can’t see himself anymore or remember what he looks like. 25 But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God’s law for free men, he will not only remember it but he will do what it says, and God will greatly bless him in everything he does.”
