Through experience gained from trials and tribulations of life, we come to comprehend; the goodness of the Lord surpasses all understanding. As we navigate the choices before us, God’s Word teaches us that the path of righteousness leads to life and the way of the wicked leads to destruction. Humans can only live by one of two laws, that is good or evil, there’s no in-between.
Even though many have never tasted the sweetness of goodness, they have come to understand through experience, that it is better than the bitterness of evil. (Proverbs 13:15) Tells us that having good understanding brings blessings and favor, while living a life of unfaithfulness and wrongdoing leads to difficulties and hardship. Knowing from experience that doing bad is always a bad idea, but to live in accordance with Holy Scripture, brings the possibility of a more meaningful life.
In (Galatians 6:7-8) we are warned that God is not mocked; a man reaps what he sows. Choose good over bad, because there are consequences that come with each choice. God cannot be deceived; we can’t expect HIM to uphold bad behavior. We should choose the way of the Lord and seek HIS goodness in all things.
Cultivate a sense of moral responsibility and integrity, which leads to greater happiness, and fulfillment in life. Know the difference between good and bad behavior, it helps us make ethical decisions with great clarity and confidence. When we sow good seeds, it pleases the Spirit, and leads to eternal life.
