Live in a manner that takes into account latter years, because those are the years that will matter most. Consider it a blessing when you are free of any association, corporate, or industry obligation, a new season of life, a time for everything.
Every season comes with its-own set of challenges and blessings that matter most in that season. In childhood we think we matter most. We marry and our marriage matter most. Become parents and our children matter most.
There is a time for everything, God in your life matter most in all seasons.
Holy Scripture provides profound insights into how we navigate each season with purpose and faith. God, the creator of the earth, designed the seasons, each serving its own purpose. Likewise HE allows us to experience different seasons in life, each with a unique purpose to fulfil, (Ecclesiastes 3:1-11) reminds us there is a season for every activity under the heavens.
Prioritizing what matters most, aligning priorities with God’s Word to ensure our home and family remain stable and harmonious. Though our priorities may shift depending on our stage in life, but always maintain a strong relationship with God, this is paramount. The Word of God offers timeless wisdom and guidance, helping us to flourish in every stage of our journey.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11
New International Version
A Time for Everything
3 “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:
2 a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot,
3 a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build,
4 a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,
5 a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain
from embracing,
6 a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away,
7 a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak,
8 a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.
9 What do workers gain from their toil? 10 I have seen the burden God has laid on the human race. 11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11
King James Version
3 “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?
10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1-11
Living Bible
3 “There is a right time for everything:
2 A time to be born;
A time to die;
A time to plant;
A time to harvest;
3 A time to kill;
A time to heal;
A time to destroy;
A time to rebuild;
4 A time to cry;
A time to laugh;
A time to grieve;
A time to dance;
5 A time for scattering stones;
A time for gathering stones;
A time to hug;
A time not to hug;
6 A time to find;
A time to lose;
A time for keeping;
A time for throwing away;
7 A time to tear;
A time to repair;
A time to be quiet;
A time to speak up;
8 A time for loving;
A time for hating;
A time for war;
A time for peace.
9 What does one really get from hard work? 10 I have thought about this in connection with all the various kinds of work God has given to mankind. 11 Everything is appropriate in its own time. But though God has planted eternity in the hearts of men, even so, many cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.”
