God’s will, can be understood in various aspects, notably the decretive will, which refers to God’s sovereign decrees, asserting or declaring what will happen according to HIS plan. Which not all of God’s will is fully revealed to humanity, Scripture teaches that we can align ourselves with it through prayer, rejoicing, and giving thanks (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). (Micah 6:8) summarizes God’s revealing will: to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with HIM.
Those who live in God’s will demonstrate obedience to HIS commands trust in HIS plan, and alignment with HIS purposes. Faithful obedience brings blessings, as seen in the life of individuals like Joseph, who maintained integrity and faith despite adversity. Our ultimate mission is to prepare for the return of Christ by faithfully spreading the gospel, remaining stedfast in our calling.
To be inside God’s will involves a life of loyalty and faithfulness, pleasing God above personal desires. Those who reject God’s will, and pursue their own way, are akin to a rebellious child and will face discipline or judgment. True salvation is found in seeking and submitting to God’s will, living in harmony with HIS revealed purposes.
In summary, to live inside God’s will is to obey HIS commands, trust HIS plan, and remain faithful to the mission of Christ. Disobedience and self-centered desires lead outside of HIS will, where one faces Divine discipline. Thus, we are called to dedicate our lives to pleasing God and fulfilling HIS purposes, which leads to spiritual prosperity and salvation.
Be inside, not outside, of HIS will!
