IN SOLITUDE
Weak men,
stand loud in crowded places,
starving for a taste
of someone else’s admiration.
But strong men?
You’ll find them in silence,
shoulder to shoulder with God,
learning the weight of their name
without needing to shout it.
See, this world teaches hustle,
“Get seen. Get likes. Get known.”
But God whispers in stillness,
“Come be with Me… alone.”
You see, Moses met fire in solitude.
David found peace in caves.
Elijah heard whispers under broom trees,
and Christ knelt in the olive’s shade.
So don’t you dare call quiet weak.
Solitude isn’t a sentence, it’s a sanctuary.
Weak men walk into rooms
wondering who will validate their breathing.
Strong men wake with the Word
and know they were already seen.
They don’t chase the echo.
They carry the voice.
They don’t need a stage
to confirm their choice.
Listen…
Never fight for love that won’t fight to stay.
Never beg for friendship
that needs performance to pray.
What comes from God arrives without striving,
Grace doesn’t grind.
It glides.
It grows.
It gives.
Jesus never chased after those who left.
HE let the rich young man go.
Let Judas choose shadow.
HE knew: Real love walks in through walls of resurrection,
not through begging hands and broken intentions.
Some of y’all been bleeding
just trying to keep counterfeit company.
But hear me,
When God sends it, you don’t have to fight to hold it.
Love rooted in heaven
doesn’t rot under pressure.
Friendship formed by faith
doesn’t fracture at your growth.
You are allowed to evolve
even when they stay stuck.
You are allowed to walk in peace
even if they build chaos.
Because contentment is power.
To have much and not boast? That’s strength.
To have little and not break? That’s grace.
To have both and not change?
That’s Jesus.
Paul wrote from prison,
“I’ve learned the secret…”
Not in palaces.
Not with popularity.
But in chains. In silence.
“I can do all things through Christ…”
So the next time you’re overlooked by the crowd,
smile.
You’re being seen by God.
When the world asks why you aren’t chasing fame,
say:
Because I’m chasing faith.
And when you’re alone in your room,
with no one clapping,
and your heart still at peace?
Know this:
You’ve found the place
where real strength lives.
And more importantly,
Where God is enough.
By Power of Ten:
God often does HIS best work in quiet places.
Not in crowded rooms full of empty souls. The need to be seen by the crowd reveals a deeper hunger to be known by God and a dangerous attempt to fill the void with noise. Strong men and women are often found alone, not because they reject people, but because they’ve found the ONE they cannot live without. Solitude is not weakness. It is the sacred soil where strength takes root.
Amen
