INNERMAN
Based on (Ephesians 3:16) “…strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man”“It Starts in the Spirit”
There’s a sacred rhythm woven through all of creation, spirit, mind, and body. Not three strangers walking separate roads, but a Divine choreography, a Holy alignment, a trinity of your being. You see, taking care of your spirit is not some optional ritual for the hyper-religious, it’s the root of everything. Because when your spirit is thriving, your mind is clear, and your body? Your body follows the lead. But what is this “spirit man”? The Apostle Paul said in (1 Thessalonians 5:23) “May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless.” Not just body. Not just soul. Spirit. The spirit man is the deepest core of you, the eternal, God-breathed part, the whisper of heaven inside your chest. It’s the part that communes with God. The part that knows even when the mind doubts. The part that gets quiet in prayer, but roars in worship. The part that aches not for success or fame, but for purpose and presence. And yet we often feed everything else: Our feeds are full. Our schedules packed. Our muscles toned. But our spirits? Emaciated. Starved. Ignored. (Proverbs 18:14) says, “The human spirit can endure in sickness, but a crushed spirit—who can bear?” You can be physically healthy and mentally sharp, but if your spirit is dry, even joy can feel hollow. Feeding the spirit means getting into the Word, not for religion, but for revelation. It means worship that breaks chains. Silence that listens. Community that uplifts. Prayer that transforms. Because a strong spirit, leads to a renewed mind. And a renewed mind? That will tell the body what to do. When your thoughts are captive to truth, your body walks in purpose. When your identity is rooted in God, your actions align with destiny. When your spirit is alive, your whole life begins to breathe. So take care of your spirit like it’s the wellspring of all things, because it is. Tend it. Feed it. Water it. Let it grow strong. And watch how your mind will sharpen, how your body will heal, how your life will flourish. It starts in the spirit. And when the spirit is whole, the rest will follow. Amen
