GUEST
God created us, for relationship with HIM, and ultimately for a heavenly home. Earthly pleasures, while good, are only shadows of the joy, love, and peace found in God’s presence. These desires are our souls yearning for its true home, we’re just guest here.“Made for Another World”
Friends, have you ever had a feeling, deep, restless, unshakable, that there must be more to life than this? C.S. Lewis once said, “If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.” That desire, it’s not a flaw. It’s a compass. Every human heart longs for perfect love, unbroken peace, lasting joy. Yet no career, no relationship, no possession ever truly quenches it. Why? Because, friends, you were made for more. (Ecclesiastes 3:11) tells us: “He has set eternity in the human heart.” That longing isn’t emptiness, it’s evidence. Evidence that we were created by a loving God who placed in us a homing signal, a desire that always whispers: “This world is not your home.” Jesus HIMSELF said in (John 14:2-3), “In my Father’s house are many rooms… I go to prepare a place for you.” HE was speaking of heaven. A place not bound by decay or disappointment. A world where every Holy desire is fulfilled in HIM. So the next time your soul aches for more, don’t despair. Let that longing lift your eyes upward. Let it remind you: You weren’t made for here. You were made for HIM. You were made for another world. Amen
