“Void Fillers”
We come, not with puffed-up chests, But on bended knees, souls bowed low, Hands raised high. We pray humbly to God, That HE pours more of HIM into each of us, That we become void fillers for HIS Kingdom, Without being depleted. This world, Is riddled with sinkholes of despair. Empty places that no man-made patch can repair. From the alleys of addiction, To the deserts of division, To the silent suffering inside golden mansions, There are voids. But oh! Nothing short of the CREATOR can fill What has collapsed from within. We don’t ask for more money, More platforms, more noise, No. We ask for more of HIM. Fill us, Lord, Till we leak grace when we walk, Till our speech spills with truth, Till love overflows from our eyes, And hope clings to our shadows. We don’t want to just take up space, We want to fill it with purpose, With presence, with peace. We want to be void fillers, Not by our might, but by HIS Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). Let us be conduits, not containers. Let the oil keep flowing (2 Kings 4:1–7), As long as there’s an empty vessel in sight. But there’s a part man must play too. Faith, without works, is dead (James 2:17). We move our feet in obedience, So Heaven can move the earth in power. So we say again, Lord, pour more of YOU into us, Not so we can hoard YOU, But so we can heal with YOU. May we be void fillers That never run dry. Because we’re connected to the Well That never runs dry (John 4:14). Amen
