TRANSFIGURED
In (Matthew 17:2), Christ was transfigured before HIS disciples, revealing Divine glory. From Depths to Divine Connection
Thank YOU, FATHER, for every place YOU have drawn us out from, those unseen caverns of despair, the hidden hollows of the soul where light dared not dwell. YOU, O LORD, traversed the shadows with us, and when we could not rise, YOUR Word called us forth. “The entrance of YOUR words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130) It was not intellect that saved us, nor striving that lifted us. It was YOUR eternal Logos, the living, breathing Christ, who shattered the silence, pierced the veil, and spoke us into liberty. “He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.” (Psalm 40:2) Now, rooted in the True Vine, we are no longer cast adrift. We are anchored in abiding life. Our nourishment flows not from this world, but from the ONE who said, “I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit.” (John 15:5) Our roots reach deep, not into the soil of circumstance, but into the bedrock of faith, fixed in the Christ who conquered the grave. Darkness no longer defines us. The Light has come, and we are children of that Light. “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” (Ephesians 5:8) This is our declaration: We were in the depths, but YOU, O Father, descended lower still. And by YOUR Word, we now stand in light, in truth, in Christ. Amen
