ANOINTING HINDRANCE

The concept of anointing in the Bible is deeply spiritual, signifying for specific roles and purposes. There are things that will attempt to hinder Divine anointing.

Anointing in the Bible marks the appointment of individuals to positions of leadership and authority (1 Samuel 16:13).

Ignorance and lack of knowledge about the Holy Spirit and HIS workings can hinder the anointing. (Hosea 4:6) People are destroyed because they don’t know ME.

Living in sin and disobedience can hinder the anointing. Sin creates a barrier between individuals and God. Disobedience prevents the full flow of HIS Spirit as willful violation of God’s Law obstructs the anointing. These attitudes reflect a lack of trust in God’s power and promises that quench the Spirit’s work. Worldly desires and priorities can distract believers from their spiritual calling.

Quenching the Spirit happen through neglecting spiritual gifts or failing to act on the Spirit’s prompting.

Overcoming these hindrances, believers are encouraged to increase their sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. Addressing these hindrances so we can fully embrace the anointing God has placed on their lives to fulfill their Divine purpose with power and effectiveness.

Give yourself to God and HE will give himself to you. You are an instrument of the Holy Spirit.
