BARAQ EULOGIA

We come in the Hebrew word “Shachah”, bowed down in humble submission to YOU God, and hereby entreat YOUR intercession into the affairs which plague our civilization.  In (1 Chronicles 16) David uses the word Shachah, translated in the English Bible as “Worship”.  YOUR Word is like blessed bread that feeds YOUR Holy congregation and is therefore a blessing to the world.

There are those who hunger for YOUR light, as this world starves in darkness.  Temper us with grace and humility to display love in a manner that offers an effective kind of hope.  Let the way YOU have chosen for us be off the wide path.

Give us wisdom to manage the spaces of time between heartbeats.  Clear a path through the junk that has piled up in the entrance of our hearts.  Protect us from the world we live in, that it does not become the world that lives in us.  We are anchored, as the world becomes a place of thin margins and thin skin.  God, widen the path of dialogue between man’s heart and mind, that his sensibilities flow unobstructed from both directions.  Let us sense only truth, that we allow YOU God, to shield us from sham.

As we become more aware of purpose, we see how far we have traveled on empty.  In a world where panic is the pass time, and people’s vision is obscured from tightly shuteyes.  We find ourselves watching the shadow behind shadowy people, because that is the one we are instructed to watch.  That we can depart from the foolish so fast, they have to take a double take.  We understand the difference between a vacation and a guilt trip.  If we make everything a spectacle, our life becomes like a circus.

As we approach the exodus from space and time, be a servant, that God may use you for a cause greater than you.  Take note that the best time of your life happens at the end, a time when love and kindness can no longer be an exception.

Little room is left in life for uncovering things that happened years ago.  We are living on the razor edge of this world.

Being alive is but one breath at a time, to be in love is like sharing your life with every breath that you take.  Be like God, the bread of life who is a blessing to all.

1 Chronicles 16:1-18
New International Version
Ministering Before the Ark

16 “They brought the ark of God and set it inside the tent that David had pitched for it, and they presented burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God. After David had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord. Then he gave a loaf of bread, a cake of dates and a cake of raisins to each Israelite man and woman.

He appointed some of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, to extol, thank, and praise the Lord, the God of Israel: Asaph was the chief, and next to him in rank were Zechariah, then Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom and Jeiel. They were to play the lyres and harps, Asaph was to sound the cymbals, and Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly before the ark of the covenant of God.

That day David first appointed Asaph and his associates to give praise to the Lord in this manner:

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts.
10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.
11 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.

12 Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,
13 you his servants, the descendants of Israel, his chosen ones, the children of Jacob.
14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

15 He remembers his covenant forever, the promise he made, for a thousand generations,
16 the covenant he made with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.
17 He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
18 “To you I will give the land of Canaan as the portion you will inherit.”

1 Chronicles 16:1-18
King James Version

16 “So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon of wine.

And he appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the ark of the Lord, and to record, and to thank and praise the Lord God of Israel:

Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

Then on that day David delivered first this psalm to thank the Lordinto the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

10 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord.

11 Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.

12 Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

13 O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

14 He is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

16 Even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

17 And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant,

18 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;”

1 Chronicles 16:1-18
Living Bible

16 “So they brought the Ark of God into the special tent that David had prepared for it, and the leaders of Israel sacrificed burnt offerings and peace offerings before God. At the conclusion of these offerings David blessed the people in the name of the Lord; then he gave every person present (men and women alike) a loaf of bread, some wine, and a cake of raisins.

He appointed certain of the Levites to minister before the Ark by giving constant praise and thanks to the Lord God of Israel and by asking for his blessings upon his people. These are the names of those given this assignment: Asaph, the leader of this detail, sounded the cymbals. His associates were Zechariah, Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-edom, and Jeiel; they played the harps and zithers. The priests Benaiah and Jahaziel played their trumpets regularly before the Ark.

At that time David began the custom of using choirs in the Tabernacle to sing thanksgiving to the Lord. Asaph was the director of this choral group of priests.

“Oh, give thanks to the Lord and pray to him,” they sang. “Tell the peoples of the world About his mighty doings.
Sing to him; yes, sing his praises And tell of his marvelous works.
10 Glory in his holy name; Let all rejoice who seek the Lord.
11 Seek the Lord; yes, seek his strength And seek his face untiringly.
12-13 O descendants of his servant Abraham, O chosen sons of Jacob, Remember his mighty miracles And his marvelous miracles And his authority:
14 He is the Lord our God! His authority is seen throughout the earth.
15 Remember his covenant forever—The words he commanded To a thousand generations:

16 His agreement with Abraham, And his oath to Isaac,
17 And his confirmation to Jacob. He promised Israel With an everlasting promise:
18 ‘I will give you the land of Canaan As your inheritance.’ ”
