In the Book of (Zechariah 1:20-21) the passage speaks about four carpenters, craftsmen, or blacksmiths, part of a vision had by the Prophet Zechariah. In this vision, they were seen as the four horns representing the nations that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem. One could interpret the four carpenters represent Divine agents or messengers sent to bring judgment upon the nations that have oppressed God’s people. The four craftsmen are seen as being symbolic of Divine assistance and provision for the restoration of Jerusalem and the establishment of God’s Kingdom.
In (Zechariah 3:9) it speaks of a stone with seven eyes on it, the Lord Almighty engraves an inscription “that HE will remove the sin of this land in a single day”. Is it a sign that Jesus Christ is coming soon? (Revelation 21:19-20) Describes the foundation of the wall of the New Jerusalem, adorned with every kind of precious stone.
(Zachariah 4:10) Tells us that when the capstone, cornerstone, or keystone is in the hands of Zerubbabel, and placed in position, symbolizing the completion of the Kingdom. The Prophet Zechariah saw seven lamps which represent the eyes of the Lord, that see everywhere around the world. The seven eyes are symbolic of God’s omniscience and watchful care over the earth.
There’s an only remnant remaining of the old Jerusalem and those who remained faithful, and have not bowed the knee to Baal. God kept seven thousand men and they are referred to as a remnant of Israel. The four carpenters teach about the seven stones representing these seven thousand.
