CONDEMNATION

As recorded in the Holy Scriptures, the laws of God were not bestowed merely for condemnation but instead to serve as a beacon of guidance for leading a Holy and prosperous existence.

It is important for ministers to remember that God’s message is one of love and forgiveness, not just condemnation.  Those who preach a message of condemnation are not accurately conveying the full scope of God’s message.  Teachings based on (Romans 3:23), which highlights that all humans have sinned and fallen short of God’s standards but can be reconciled through our faith in YHWH.  In (Ephesians 2:8-9) the Bible tells us that we are saved by grace through faith, and it is not of our own actions, or ourselves, but it is a gift from God.  Meaning that we cannot earn our salvation by doing good deeds or following the law, but it is only through our faith in YHWH that we are saved.

In (James 2:17) we ought note that, good works should accompany this faith.  Our salvation is not based on these good works alone.  This means that true faith is not a passive belief or mental agreement, but it should produce works or actions that demonstrates it.  Faith in God should be reflected in the way we live our lives and do good works for others.

God’s will, that faith in HIM should result in good works, for both are inseparable.  As it is said in the Bible, genuine faith should always bear fruit in the form of good works.

(Deuteronomy 6:24) Tells the world why the laws were given to man.  They were given to man to help us live a good life and protect us from harm.  Globally, the Bible teaches that the laws were given for our good, to help us be Holy, and to point us towards our need for a Savior.
