DELIVERANCE

King David portrays a profound sense of humility and recognition of the limitations of human strength. (Psalm 18:17) He expresses his deep gratitude and awe for the Divine intervention and deliverance he has experienced in his life.  This verse captures the essence of David’s spiritual voyage, highlighting his reliance on God’s strength and protection in the face of strong enemies, temptations, and challenges.

In (Psalm 35:10) King David makes a plea to God for deliverance from enemies who are too strong for the psalmist.  He expresses a desire for God to intervene and rescue him from oppression and harm caused by his powerful adversaries.

The correlation between Psalm 18:17 and Psalm 35:10 is deliverance.  In both, King David writes about seeking deliverance from those who are too strong for him.  God’s deliverance guides David, with power of protection in times of trouble.

Asking for God’s help can provide us with comfort and reassurance, knowing that we are never alone in our struggles.  HE will deliver and rescue us from difficult situations that we may feel shielded or kept safe from harm.
