Don’t love money, the love of it is a good thing not to have, but have an abundance of it around towards which you lack affection.
When you think about from where money could have come, you are less likely to love it, and that’s the kind of money you want plenty of, the kind that you don’t love.
It’s easier to do good with it when there is no attachment to it because we do not spread what we love.
(1 Timothy 6:10) Warns us that love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Those eager for money have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. It is not money itself that is evil, rather the love of money, which lead to various forms of wickedness.
When we prioritize spiritual values over material possessions we can cultivate a sense of contentment and gratitude for what we already have, rather than constantly striving for more. Trust in God’s provision and guidance rather than relying on wealth to strengthen your relationship with HIM.
The unlovable money is the kind you will not Bow to and kiss; there is plenty of it around.
