I hereby confess and repent for current and past sins in my life. To God I am sorry, and humbly acknowledge that I have squandered many of the years of precious time YOU have bestowed upon me, until this very moment. I sincerely regret, not doing more for YOUR Kingdom during my existence period. God, I hereby pledge to YOU, my entire existence, period.
God protects us from signing wicked contracts that could deter us from the path that HE has planned for our existence. Do not, by your own free will, seek to go outside of God’s will and enter into evil agreements with the enemy. For our period of existence on earth, a vapor of smoke in time, it’s not a good exchange for an eternity with God. Acknowledge HIS guiding hand and Divine foresight.
In (Habakkuk 2:2-3) the Lord answered and said, “Write the vision, make it plain” enabling those who read, to run with it. Habakkuk is addressing God and seeking answers to his concerns about the injustice and violence he sees in the world. Moreover, he is expressing his willingness to wait for God’s response and look for HIS guidance. Habakkuk is instructed by God to record the Divine vision that will be revealed to him for future reference. Clear guide for people to follow, a written vision that can be quickly understood for appropriate actions.
Still the vision awaits its appointed time; it will fulfill God’s promises for the establishment of justice, and the ultimate deliverance of HIS people from the wicked Babylonian empire. This was fulfilled when Babylon was defeated, clearing way for HIS chosen to return to their homeland.
God’s vision can be seen as an ongoing process that extends beyond any specific event or timeframe. Its full realization may continue to unfold in different ways throughout our existence period.
Habakkuk 2:2-3
New International Version
The Lord’s Answer
2 “Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. 3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end
and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
Habakkuk 2:2-3
King James Version
2 “And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Habakkuk 2:2-3
Living Bible
2 “And the Lord said to me, “Write my answer on a billboard, large and clear, so that anyone can read it at a glance and rush to tell the others. 3 But these things I plan won’t happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, do not despair, for these things will surely come to pass. Just be patient! They will not be overdue a single day!”
