Is it possible to assist the world while still maintaining distance from the world? We do God’s will and pray for HIS favor, that HE may grant us favor of men. With God’s favor we traverse the world’s orbit while maintaining a great distance.
Joseph, a biblical figure who is cited as having both God’s favor and the favor of men. In (Genesis 41:15) it is outlined for us. Despite early hardships, Joseph rose to a position of power in Egypt based on his ability to interpret dreams. This was seen as a Divine gift, earning Joseph favor of Pharaoh and the Egyptian people. At the same time, Joseph’s resilience and unwavering faith, trusting in God’s plan for him, is seen as evidence of his favor with God. (Genesis 41:39) Highlights the recognition of Joseph’s wisdom and discernment by Pharaoh, which ultimately leads to Joseph being appointed as the second-in-command of Egypt.
This new power gave Joseph better connections, networking opportunities, and people were more likely to trust and support such a favored man. This led to increased success for Pharaoh.
God had a plan that would see HIS will carried out in the lives of Israel, also known as (Jacob), Joseph, and his brothers, and HE would use Pharaoh to see that HIS will be done. God’s Divinely orchestrated plan for Joseph was only made possible because of Joseph’s compassionate use of power, when Pharaoh allowed him to have it.
