GIVE RECEIVE

God wants HIS children to be what HE was the example of, helping the poor. (Acts 20:35) We are told that, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”  In this life, there will be family, friends, and neighbors given to us that we may build into their lives, and they build into ours.

For everything God has said and done, the devil has tried to highjack and put his own counterfeit spin.  The evil one has convinced many to receive rather than give.  The world is full of crooks, influenced by the devil; they will rob good people of their possessions, without any sense of guilt.  It has gotten so bad; they take advantage of the weakest, poorest, and most vulnerable within society.

(Psalm 82:3) Those who are children of the most high God are instructed to “defend the weak and the fatherless.”  In an ever-shrinking world, what was once across the globe, is now our neighbor.  The time is upon us that we are to build into the lives of those who are in the Body of Christ.  Share what we have that our family can live and thrive in the world.  Protect them from their oppressors, and be blessed for doing so.

God gives us the power of discernment.  With that power, predictable people are easily discerned.  The greedy think they are playing us, when they are actually playing themselves.  Their persistent need to receive makes them easy targets for the Army of God.  When they open their gluttonous mouths to consume another’s possessions, force-feed them until they vomit.

Prospering in life demands that we do the right thing, at the right time.  Give of ourselves to those who are at risk of genocide and mass atrocities.  By doing so, we ensure our own security and well-being.

Be blessed, give more, and thrive in life.  For it is the calling of a great people, at such a time as now.
