HONORABLE WAR

Every competition damages your reputation, rivals seize every opportunity to overtake us, and few wage honorable war.  An honorable warrior distinguishes himself by conspicuous gallantry, living the values of respect, duty, loyalty, and selfless service.  The highest award for valor is given to those who exhibit integrity and personal courage in everything they do.

War is not our making but our unmaking and is the brutal thing that it is.

Let us vow to not steal, lie, or cheat, and not tolerate among us anyone who does.  That we may demonstrate honor by striving to do honorable things at all times.  Furthermore, we shall resolve to do our duty and live honorably, so help us God.

We must have a good reputation (1Timothy 3:7) that we do not fall into reproach and the devil’s snare.  Avoid small competitions, which can cause damage to one’s reputation over time.  Especially contest between family and friends, because those closest, with hidden resentment, can do the most damage to our reputation, that we can fall into disgrace.  They wage dishonorable warfare against those whom have done them no harm.

We are Kingdom warriors, and we wage honorable war, that our God awards us with HIS words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant” job well done! (Matthew 25:21)
