A song or book written about you is either flattering or damaging; it is determined solely based upon the integrity of its author and their relationship with the characters. An author of integrity, concerned about being flattering towards their characters will never write of them unfavorably. Their integrity is displayed in this manner.
The greater the writers’ platform, the more significant the flattery or damage can be. They must be always mindful of how they depict those who are part of their story. So do we, because our picture of them is actually a reflection of us. Let your integrity always be displayed.
When writing characters in a song or book, always be mindful of the power of your words. Use them to reduce as much friction as you can in life and avoid conflict resulting from harsh and confrontational actions.
It is not necessary to write nor verbalize one’s position on every topic to a point of there being friction in the atmosphere, this adds to life’s static. There is no greater contributor to friction than conflict. Those who contribute to it, live an abrasive life that on its surface is a worn-out appearance.
In (Proverbs 10:9) we are told to walk in integrity and it will guide us. We are taught that Godliness and integrity are our bodyguards; we should expect them to protect us. (Psalm 25:21)
Walk through your life with integrity displayed, we are only slaves to that which masters us. Be only Mastered by God, the CREATOR of all that is, and HE is integrity displayed.
