{A look into Proverbs, John, and 1 John}
(Proverbs 10:12) Teaches that love covers all offenses, and when we choose to love and forgive the wrongs of others, we are reflecting God’s love and grace towards us.
(John 8:32) Tells us “the truth will set you free.” By embracing the truth of God’s Word, living in accordance to HIS will, we are liberated from the bondage of sin, and can experience true freedom in Christ. It is only by the power of the truth, that we can find a lasting peace and joy, in this life and the next.
Read (1 John 4:20) and the inference prevailed is that, our love for God is incomplete if we do not also love and show kindness to those around us, as they are also created in HIS image. The question becomes; how can we not love our brother and sister, whom we have seen, and truly love God, whom we have not seen?
Our quality of life is not determined by the number of days we live, but by the life we bring to each day. It is important to make each day count by living a life of purpose, and bringing God’s irrefutable Word to those around us. In this way, we bring light and hope to a world in need.
Inside the Word of God, are love, truth, and power. The pursuit of love and truth is a noble and worthwhile endeavor, even if it is not well received by others. It is a common tendency for humans, whom have never known truth, to resist its delivery, no matter how it’s offered.
The power of God’s truth is transformative and can bring about healing, freedom, and a deeper understanding of HIS love and purpose for our lives.
