Love without truth is a lie. In relationships, we don’t lie and keep secrets. It is important in relationships that we do not engage in deceitful behavior or the concealing of information. The very essence of relationship is to foster deeper connection, and not engage in actions that erode trust and create distance.
Love without love is when emotions already intertwined yet the hearts yearn for connection. The absence of truth can be likened to a betrayal, for love, at its core thrives on authenticity and transparency. It is from honesty that love can bloom and it flourishes. To conceal secrets undermine the very foundation upon which trust is built.
There is significance for truth in love; our ethics shape the very fabric of our lives. Anything of God will always be allied with both love and truth. In (Ephesians 4:15) the Apostle Paul speaks about truth in love. To lovingly follow truth, speaking truly, and living truly. Emphasizing the importance of speaking truth in a loving manner, an essential component for growth and unity, in the Body of Christ.
God operates in love and truth with HIS church, the Body, and HE cannot lie and does not keep secrets from the bride. Likewise the bride must operate in love and truth with the world, that it builds trust and close the breach of distance with unbelievers.
