MASK UNVEILED

The Power Poem

Never explain to hearts that choose to misunderstand,
For their confusion is a guise, a subtle sleight of hand.
They’re not lost in thought, but trapped in dark design,
Seeking control, not clarity, their hearts are not aligned.

The higher your self-respect, the less you’ll bear,
For drama’s grip grows weak when truth fills the air.
Betrayal cuts not deep from the deeds that pierce,
But from the mask that falls, revealing wounds severe.

It’s not the hurt of actions that stings the soul,
But the sight of who they are, their true role.
The mask slips, and in its place, a jagged truth is shown,
The heart grieves not the deed, but the illusion it had known.

Truth, though sharp, is the clarity you seek,
It may wound, but it builds the strength to be unique.
You’re not cold, nor have you turned away,
It’s just that fire’s trials have taught you to stray
From those who’d burn you with their fleeting flame,
You’ve found your peace, no longer bound to their shame.

For after many storms, your heart finds shelter,
A winter coat to protect from the harshness it once weathered.
Peace, a quiet gift, may seem a burden to some,
To those addicted to chaos, who call dysfunction home.

But in God’s grace, peace is where you stand,
Free from the noise, safe in HIS hand.
In silence, you find strength, in stillness, HIS voice,
For HE is the refuge, the true heart’s choice.

Let not betrayal break you, nor deceit make you fall,
For HIS truth stands firm, and HIS love conquers all.
