How do we take safeguard against the transformation of our religious institutions into mere venues where sermons are treated as intellectual properties and subject to copyright protection? Ministry is the conduit for maintaining open lines of communication between God and humanity.
The true measure of a ministry is determined by the unity of its followers. This is maintained by the continual safeguarding of ministry’s conduit responsibility.
Ministers often imitate characteristics of their teachers. Maybe even given their interpretation of a sermon preached by a mentor. It is the best form of flattery, imitation, which one can demonstrate to his teacher.
Teachers of truth will never discourage their pupil from spreading it and always make themselves available as a conduit for truth. To imitate truth is to imitate God, because HE is truth.
Any ministry that does not uplift is probably a false prophet agency. Where sermons are for sale and people starve for their requirement of truth. This platform is used to lash out and brow beat from, a place of profit that lacks God’s anointing.
The truth of God ministry shapes us that we are formed into conduits for HIS will, that create future disciples. We are commanded to feed and take care of HIS sheep. (John 21:15-17)
John 21:15-17
New International Version
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15 “When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16 Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17 The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.”
John 21:15-17
King James Version
15 “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.”
John 21:15-17
Living Bible
15 “After breakfast Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these others?”[
“Yes,” Peter replied, “you know I am your friend.”
“Then feed my lambs,” Jesus told him.
16 Jesus repeated the question: “Simon, son of John, do you really love me?”
“Yes, Lord,” Peter said, “you know I am your friend.”
“Then take care of my sheep,” Jesus said.
17 Once more he asked him, “Simon, son of John, are you even my friend?”
Peter was grieved at the way Jesus asked the question this third time. “Lord, you know my heart; you know I am,” he said.
Jesus said, “Then feed my little sheep.”
