Wisdom from the Scriptures: When there’s no way out, don’t go in. There are consequences of going into situations and places that do not have a way out.
Pray in times of adversity or temptation, for God to guide you in exercising wisdom, in refusing to embark on a singular direction without option of turning back or to change course. Ask HIM for the ability to see the warning signs of a dead-end, along the way. We can trust in HIS guidance, wisdom, and providence. God is the alternative to situations that have no way out. A life with God is a life that comes from within; therefore, freewill is the foundation of HIS way of life.
(1 Corinthians 10:13) Tells us that God is faithful and will not allow us to be tempted beyond our ability to resist. HE always provides a way for us to escape from temptation, that we can endure it, even when we are tempted.
A life offered to us that comes with no way out, is not a path from God. With God we never find ourselves in situations where there is no clear exit or escape route, that can make us feel trapped or vulnerable, like being at the edge of a deep, dark pit.
Instead of jumping into the unknown, God will give us an exit strategy from religious, physical, social, and/or decision-making, HIS strategy is important to have, it can ensure well-being and minimize our risks. In this way we have a clear understanding of our destination, and we never go where there is no way out, once we enter. (Proverbs 4:14-15) Directs us to avoid walking in the path of the wicked and not enter into evil situations where there is no escape. It tells us to avoid the path, turn away from it and pass on. (Proverbs 14:12) Warns us that there is a way that seems right to a person, but it is a path that ultimately leads to an eternal death.
1 Corinthians 10:13

13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13
King James Version
13 “There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.”
1 Corinthians 10:13
Living Bible
13 “But remember this—the wrong desires that come into your life aren’t anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the same problems before you. And no temptation is irresistible. You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong that you can’t stand up against it, for he has promised this and will do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation’s power so that you can bear up patiently against it.”
