Many of us have traveled by bicycle, eventually we learn that on our journey there is only one direction wind will be at your back pushing from behind. The other direction there will be opposing wind.
Extra effort required traveling through opposing wind; God will use to strengthen along the journey. The reward comes at the journey’s end, and there is no memory of which direction was there opposing wind.
You seemed to breeze along in both directions just the same, and to have no memory of which direction in your journey had most obstacles, rivals, or opposing wind spiritually and/or otherwise. You were strengthened from completing the journey, and to have no memory of opposite forces, is blessing from God.
Our CREATOR is the wind that pushes us from behind, and HE is also our strength to help us through opposing wind. The end of our journey is when are rewarded for completing the trek, receiving God’s favor, and entry into HIS Kingdom forever, where there is no opposing power.
Pray for a sign from God, that HE is pleased with your attempt at walking in accordance with HIS will for your life, or at least ask HIM for direction, how to align more in accordance with HIS plan for you.
Study God’s Word, make HIM your focus in good times and bad. There is no greater sign of worship than to have faith, with God as your focus, no greater life to have. Holy Scripture provides extensive guidance on how believers find strength through opposition. We recognize the spiritual nature of struggle, and we rely on God’s power, we are more than conquerors, embracing trials as opportunities for growth.
Romans 8:37-39
New International Version
37 “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39
King James Version
37 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 8:37-39
Living Bible
37 “but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us. 38 For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, 39 or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us.”
