REVERSAL

Biblical justice often works through Divine reversal; “the last shall be first,” “what they meant for evil, God used for good.” This title captures the ironic, redemptive twist when the oppressors’ plans fail, and the faithful rise. “When the Game Backfires” The plan didn’t just fail, it exploded. That was the collapse of the illusion of control. Manipulators, thinking they were wiser, played the short game, chasing power, sacrificing peace. But God writes longer stories. Eternal ones. They mistook integrity for weakness, truth for naivety, kindness for permission. But the meek shall inherit the earth, not the proud, not the cunning. They thought they could outwit righteousness. Play God, but ended up breaking their own souls. Because when you weaponize deceit, you bleed credibility. And when you try to break what God has made whole, you only expose your own fractures. They tried to measure others by their own brokenness. But we are not broken, not bitter. We are better. Wiser. Free. Because Christ set us free. Not with vengeance, but with victory. Not in secret schemes, but in the light of truth. Power fades. But character endures. The game backfired, because truth never plays. It wins. Amen
