ROOT IT OUT

Root out the voice of the oppressors.  Although the oppressors today are not always people, many things that oppress us are spiritual, and we must take action to root it out.

Replace paranoia, irrational fears, and excessive suspicion, with trust.  Have the belief or confidence in the integrity and goodwill of man.  This gives us a sense of security, and the willingness to rely on others without constant suspicion or fear.

Instead of living in a perpetual state of agitation, having a lack of tolerance, and being impatience, replace it with calm while facing difficulties, delays, or provocation.  Be willing to wait, and while waiting, always exhibiting a peaceful and tolerant attitude towards circumstances beyond one’s control.  Patience is marked by a willingness to endure with calmness of spirit, even in challenging situations.

Root out the spirit of accusation that is running rampant amongst the people, and replace it instead with a sense of relief, vindication, and restored reputation for those who are charged and wrongfully accused.

Root out confrontation and conflict; let it be replaced with a desire to maintain peace.  Stability is what peace provides, it creates an environment in which people can thrive.  In a peaceful existence, the overall health, growth, and development of society are benefited.  Peaceful people are more likely to sustain economic growth and improved living standards.  Especially when they live in a nation where rights and liberties are respected as fundamental individual human rights.

Silence that which oppresses us, and root it out!

Identify and recognize the voice and presence of our oppressors, eliminate and eradicate it completely, that it does not resurface.  In (Matthew 7:15-20) Jesus warns HIS listeners to beware of false prophets who disguise themselves as harmless and righteous people, for they have a hidden nature.  Discern their true nature by their fruits or the evidence of their actions, and root them out.  A healthy tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree produce good fruit.  This is the concept of rooting out false prophets who present deceptive or harmful doctrine that is toxic to the people.  Take decisive action to expose, silence, and remove them from the Body of Christ, that they do not cause harm, or lead the people astray.

Matthew 7:15-20
New International Version
True and False Prophets

15 “ “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”

Matthew 7:15-20
King James Version

15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”

Matthew 7:15-20
Living Bible

15 “ “Beware of false teachers who come disguised as harmless sheep, but are wolves and will tear you apart. 16 You can detect them by the way they act, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit. You need never confuse grapevines with thorn bushes or figs with thistles. 17 Different kinds of fruit trees can quickly be identified by examining their fruit. 18 A variety that produces delicious fruit never produces an inedible kind. And a tree producing an inedible kind can’t produce what is good. 19 So the trees having the inedible fruit are chopped down and thrown on the fire. 20 Yes, the way to identify a tree or a person is by the kind of fruit produced.”
